A couple of reminders as spring approaches please don’t publish information about potential scarce nesting birds such as Owls , birds of prey or hare locations. Birds should be submitted still on the website and marked as sensitive.
Also when out birding please stick to public rights of way unless you have specific permission to access private land , there were recent incidents around Sand Villa and although it wasn’t necessarily Fylde Bird Club members, one of our members, who does the important BTO webs counts there, did get approached by the farmer about birders/photographers being parked down private tracks blocking access and being on private land. If you see this please challenge it or report it to me or the committee.
